​ACTION PLAN: PRESIDENT’S DAY 2017 — OPPOSE NEW EXECUTIVE ORDER RE-ESTABLISHING MUSLIM BAN

Yes, he’s making another attempt to circumvent the Constitution, the courts, and our American values by a new executive order putting the Muslim Ban back in place. Tell your government reps you expect them to oppose it.
 
HERE’S THE EASY WAY TO DO THAT
Send free faxes via email from your desktop or phone using FaxZero, which comes pre-loaded with the fax numbers of every senator and member of the House of Representatives.

1. OPEN FAXZERO. It’s pretty self-explanatory, and comes with a list of addresses of your representatives. If you have questions, here are a few tips you may find helpful.

2. UPLOAD A LETTER. Here’s a template you can use:  

Dear [Name of representative],
 
I understand the President is about to issue another executive order reinstating the Muslim Ban. This ban is a disgrace to our Constitution and to human decency. I ask that you oppose it in every way that you can.
 
I will be watching to see what you choose to do in this defining moment of American history.
 
Sincerely,
[Your name and zip code]
 
3.  SEND LETTERS to your senators and congressional representatives. They will tabulate the results because they know you vote in their district; that’s why you put in your zip code. Don’t waste time sending to others, as politicians ignore the opinions of anybody who can’t vote for them in the next election. (Not being cynical, just realistic.)
 
4. YOU’RE DONE! Congratulations on making a difference today.
