 American Resistance Sevilla Women's March Saturday, January 20, 12 noon Columbus Monument in Jardines de Murillo American Resistance Sevilla is sponsoring a march to mark the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March on Washington, the largest coordinated protest in U.S. history. Last year, more than five million people around the world— Americans as well as concerned citizens around the world—protested the inauguration of Donald Trump as president of the United States. Seville’s active American community and supporters will meet at the Columbus Monument in Jardines de Murillo at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Seville’s march, which will feature speaker JoNell Kvamme, is planned in conjunction with the principal Women’s March event in Las Vegas. Sister marches are being held in hundreds of American cities and international locations, with people mobilizing all over the world to speak out in support of equality, justice, and inclusion for women worldwide.
