American Resistance Sevilla is mobilizing concerned women and men of all nations to march together in Seville on International Women's Day, March 8.  We're marching for gender equality and for all the essential human rights and freedoms that are now under attack. Join with us, 8 de Marzo and other local organizations, Resistance groups in the US, and sympathizers around the world.

On January 21, 2017, five million people around the world joined with the Women’s March to protest the new president's degrading and abusive attitude toward women. This year, International Women’s Day is viewed by many as a second Women’s March and an important part of the growing Resistance movement in America and throughout the world.

Women, men, and children of all nationalities are welcome.

WHEN?
Wednesday, March 8, gathering at 7:30PM, marching at 8:00 PM

WHERE?
Plaza Nueva, Sevilla
​by the San Fernando statue in the center of the plaza

WHAT TO BRING?
We'll provide protest posters or feel free to bring your own.
At the request of 8 de Marzo's organizers, we ask that posters focus on women's issues.
Posters can be in English or Spanish.
We'll provide armbands in purple
(the traditional color used in International Women's Day observances).
If you have a pink protest hat, wear it!
