STOP, LOOK, LISTEN! by Kathy Sherretts It's not just for geeks anymore... Along with thousands of concerned internet users, I wrote to the FCC to support net neutrality—only to find that the comment process had been hacked and corrupted by millions of fake emails. This week FCC chairman Ajit Pai announced the rollback of regulations that prevent internet providers from blocking or slowing access to certain websites. The elimination of net-neutrality rules opens the door to preferential treatment for some content providers, and closes doors for others. It may be too late now to change the outcome, but don't hesitate to contact your elected representatives with your embittered complaints.
