Points of light 
As I usually do when I'm visiting, I spent a morning quilting with the ladies at my mom's church. While we work, they talk matter-of-factly about their gardens, families, doctor visits, neighbors that need a hand. They are kind and funny. It's hard for me to believe that most of them still support a president and a party that has so completely abandoned not only their interests, but their basic values.
